My name is Richard. I worked on Y2K and I’m an expert on legacy IT systems, but I’m much older than most of my colleagues and they’re starting to overtake me.
It’s not that I’m madly ambitious but I am being constantly passed over for promotion and my manager doesn’t seem to think I am worth even training anymore.
Surely I’m not past it at 43?
